Perpetual Contract is a derivative product that is similar to a traditional futures contract, there is no expiry or settlement, there is no time limit for position holding. Meanwhile, in order to track underlying index price, the perpetual contract uses funding cost mechanism to ensure that the price follows closely to underlying price. Each calculation of a funding always includes the current perpetual contract’s discount/premium assessment of the situation for both long and short, is determined by the actual trading result of long and short.
Step 1: Visit DragonEx website, Log in, Click the Contract tag to enter the relevant page.
Step 2: Enable Contract Trading and Apply for Capital on the Account Assets page. Users who enable it will get 5,000BUSD as capital used for Mock Trading.
Step 3: Click Transfer on the Exchange page and transfer your assets from Exchange Account to Swap Account by entering the Quantity.
Step 4: After that, you will see your Available Balance on the Exchange page.
There are three methods, Stop-limit, Price-limit and Market. Take Price-limit for example.
Step 1: Choose Price-limit on the Exchange page. Enter the Price and choose the margin, 10X or others leverage. Then click Buy/Long and confirm it.
Step 2: You can check the status of your order or cancel it in the Current Orders column on the Exchange page.
Step 3: You can check more in the Position column on the Exchange page.
Check Your Profits
You can check your profits which is consist of Unrealized PNL and Realized PNL in the Position column on the Exchange page.
Unrealized PNL: It’s calculated according to the estimated amount of profits and losses and the return ration when the position is closed. Red represents Losses while Green represents Profits.
Realized PNL: It includes transaction fees, funds ratios and profits collected from closed positions. Red represents Losses while Green represents Profits.
How to Close Positions, Add Positions and Reduce Positions?
Add Positions: Buy the contract which is same with the side of the positions.
Reduce Positions: Buy the contract which is different from the side of the positions.
Close Positions: There are two methods of closing positions.
- Enter the Price to the right of the Positions column and click Limit to close the position.
2.Enter the Price to the left on the Exchange page and enter the price and positions to close the position.
